Ed Cole is Chief of Environment and Planning. He is responsible for the activities of the Divisions of Transportation Planning, Environment, and Public Transportation, Waterways and Rail.
Efficient transportation systems are critical to economic growth and development. Mr. Edward Cole, the Assistant Commissioner and Chief for Environmental & Planning for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, will be our guest at the August meeting of the Brentwood Cool Springs ECD Committee. Mr. Cole will talk with us about middle Tennessee highway transportation issues – funding, accommodating growth, if and where new highway construction will occur – and he will inform us about the overall planning process.
